Lemon Buttercream Frosting
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter (room temperature)
3 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lemon (juice and zest)
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine butter, sugar and salt and beat until combined
Add lemon juice and vanilla and continue to beat for another 3 to 5 minutes or until creamy
Optional: for lemon buttercream frosting, add lemon juice with vanilla and fold in zest at the end
